Offering Local Residents A Fun Environment with Great Food
Having spent more than 19 years in the service and hospitality industry, we (Nate and Grace Howell) decided to ‘move home’ and take the leap into ownership. We have worked and lived in many places to gather our experiences. We spent time in Chicago, San Diego, and Indianapolis, continuously learning about our trade. After walking through what was then known as the Hamilton House, we could see and feel all the possibilities and potential. The building and the town of Hamilton itself is full history.
This Has Been a Dream Project For Us
We purchased the restaurant in fall of 2021 and immediately got to work. We upgraded almost every square foot of the building including – all four bathrooms, almost all piping and plumbing, new floors throughout, upgrades to the balcony and patio/tiki bar, 100% kitchen renovation, and much more.
For Us, It’s About A Real Connection With Our Guests
What we love the most about Howie’s is our people. We offer so many incredible, tangible things like amazing food, tasty cocktails, and a beautiful view of Hamilton Lake, but what truly makes us happy is the enjoyment our guests have when they are in our establishment. We are thrilled with our approachable vibe and welcoming feel, and we are even happier with the way it has been received.
